Leaving Camryn for the first time
Saturday night I left Camryn for the first time. We went to a wedding reception in Burlington and left her with Grandma and Grandpa Hollingsworth. They got along great. I missed her very much and couldn't wait to get home. We left her around 6:00 and I called to check on her at 8:30 and then picked her up around 11:00. But we had a good time going out for supper and to the reception.
Oh, and I need to give the proper credit for a previously posted picture...Grandma Hollingsworth took the picture. My mistake!

Update
We went to the Peds doctor on Monday and with her harness on she weighs 9 lbs 4.9 oz. Now she doesn't have to go back there until her 2 month check-up. Then yesterday we went to the Orthopedic doctor for a check on her hips. He could not make her hips pop out this time so that was great news. We go back there in 3 weeks.
Camryn is still doing great. We get up every 4 hours at night to eat.

More pics
Not very happy after her first bath at home!
The doctors appts went well yesterday. She is jaundice so we had to take her back today for another blood test. And we have to take her back again tomorrow. Hopefully the level will be down enough this time!
At the orthopedic doctor, he confirmd that she has hip dysplasia and said she has to wear the harness for 6 weeks. Her harness doesn't seem to bother her at all. It is annoying to take on and off but we are getting the hang of it. Just thankful that the doctors caught it now.

She's Here!
Camryn Lee joined our family on April 5, 2008 at 7:09 pm. She weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long. She is gorgeous and of course I am not prejudice.
We go tomorrow morning to the doctor for a weight check. And then we go to the orthopedic doctor to get her fitted for a hip brace. The doctor said that her hips are just too loose in the sockets which will cause problems down the road if not fixed now. She has to wear the brace for 6 weeks to help her hips mature correctly. And then hopefully there will not be any lasting effects.
I will update with more pics soon.
